Shelley Hershberger seeks to express the residue left behind---after the grand moments, the celebrated events---on us as individuals and collectively, on our institutions and the environment; as we make our way through time alone and with others, evolving, changing, expanding along the way.
Favored approaches include mixed media drawing, oil media on canvas or panel, and oil-based mixed-plate (intaglio, relief & monotype) printmaking.
